In the season of Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos and Samhain, we danced an ancient dance of honoring and healing, together, with intention.
We call to our lineage … to all that we have come from through time and all that will come from us ~ a Soul trail back and into the future … perspectives shift … we have our place in it all … we are connected … never alone.
We dance this in our blood, fluid and earthy, rooted, curling and connective.
The journey took hold in our bones, pulsing with our heart beat … tears flowed. Some sorrow, some core centered comfort … remembering … remembering Grandmother’s wisdom voice.
Some unearthed ghosts from the past, uninvited companions … now, time to turn towards them … to learn, forgive, release.
We shook it wild … loose surrender … a practiced path.
- Let go … into your knowing … into the wisdom in your body dance
- Let go … the dark musty hold of ghosts long outlived … ghosts of beliefs and ways f being
- Let go … into no mind … into the wildness of your dance, of being danced
- Let go of letting go … be
Be the awareness of just how close my Grandmother’s wisdom teaching is.
Be in the perspective shift ~ the ancestor line with all their wounds have lead me here, I have grown … I am learning not to abandon myself.
Be in the reframe ~ I am not as afraid as I think I am … I can feel that in me.
Be in the question ~ who am I really?
Be without words … in the silence of Spirit … in my lineage … of Soul.
Invite the Woman of the North … the wisdom keeper … dance with her, we do.
In each of us, a story, a BodySpirit story … unwinding and weaving its way into the circle, on to the floor, into the eyes of another, the heart of our space we dance and are danced, we honor and are honored … into the dance we go.
