Amanda Butler, MFT-I, Certified Luminous Life Maps Guide is a therapist trainee at SLC Mental Health. She is currently enrolled at Pacifica Graduate Institute, studying Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. She is a certified Luminous Life Maps Guide, and enjoys working with individuals who want to connect more deeply and authentically with themselves and others. She has special insight into depression, anxiety, grief and loss, meaning and identity, trauma, career issues, women’s issues, health challenges, and inner conflicts related to faith and spirituality. She loves the Luminous Life Maps system because its multi-modal approach often facilitates healing more profoundly than talk therapy alone. She also enjoys its focus on creativity, expression, and inner experience.
Amanda is also a freelance writer and editor. She has a Master’s degree in English from Utah State University. Her business, Alembic Publications, specializes in writing and editing related to the topics of psychology, spirituality, and creative works, as well as blog and newsletter management.
Amanda loves to travel, paint and draw, or do anything else creative. She finds true joy in helping others, through creative expression, and in studying psychology, spirituality, and healing.
