What are you MADE for?
When I said YES to being on the the ‘warmup’ team for OLOX, the Siberian NeoShamanic Arctic Ecstatic Dance Diva, I didn’t give it much thought. Ha! Foolish me.
As I have prepared with my collaborating magic friend Vanessa, I have felt a strange importance to it all. I have done well over 700 dance journey experiences, and this one stands out as ‘really important’ somehow…I can feel a pull into some deep knowing…feeling the magic recognition of WHY I AM HERE.
These are the words that come as I finish the warmup playlist for this Sunday’s Magic Event:
Deepening into the dance, into the body, through music, movement, breath and being together…this is a profound medicine. This is the offering I strive to create.
It pulls at me, FOR YOU. It draws me in, to create for you. To support and invite you into your depth, your magic, your healing potential. It is what I was designed for, creating this invitation for you…I am in service to it, as I am to you.
It opens my heart. It stokes my fire. It soothes my soul. This journey into the body…into spirit embodied…into the elemental nature of our humanness…the deeper Imaginal fabric that holds us always. This is the calling we hear on the wind in our day dreams, the symbols that catch our eye…the knowing we feel in our bones when we are quiet. This elemental embodiedness is the container for Spirit and our unique Soul’s expression.
